The project located in the city of Canet del Mar is a total transformation executed by Standal architects. The residence includes three floors distributed in different living and sleeping areas.
The ground floor which measures 91 m2 hosts the house entrance and the living area: the kitchen and the dining room, a living room, an office and a bathroom.
The first floor includes in its 77 m2 three bedrooms, a bathroom and a large dressing with an additional bathroom. The attic is impressive through its large dimensions (166 m2) and the entertaining area it hosts. Several video games consoles and a multimedia space assure the fun for the owners' guests.
The attic is the point where the house opens up to the garden, the pool, and the sauna. This area is specially designed for relaxing and admiring the surroundings.
The owners of the house, a Russian family with three children wanted to totally transform the former interior design of the residence and adapt it to their tastes. The architects Carolina Luzón y Luis Ruíz started to plan the new decoration which included the ideas and personal recommendations of the clients in order to complete the project in its best form.
The intense collaboration resulted in a modern design which included an important part of the functionality that satisfies the necessities, tastes, and customs of the family.
The final decoration has a modern and actual look with a subtle romantic touch that shows up in the pastel couches or the mosaic that decorates the chimney. The clients' taste for noble fabrics is reflected in the heavy use of massive wood for all the furniture pieces in the house.
The parking lot was adjusted to a single parking place in order to make enough space for the gym area of the residence.
The house stands out through its large and well-lightened rooms along with the high-quality materials used and the cosiness it evokes.
