Trousdale Residence, a 7,200 square foot house was built at the top of Beverly Hills, with amazing views that overlook the Pacific Ocean down to the city of Los Angeles.
The house was designed by Mayes Office and benefits from a 480 square foot backyard with a detached pool house including a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and a sunken fire fit.
The amazing pool house lets the light pass through its steel beams and the roof. The views of this tiny house are unobstructed by the sliding doors that connect the beachy inside look with the outside.
The materials palette in the interior respects the luxurious atmosphere: warm wood floors, copper, limestone, marble and exposed steel. They all create a wonderful cozy surrounding with an industrial touch.
One of the most spectacular decor elements is the 12' high green wall that starts from the driveway and continues to the interior through the entrance and the main living space.
More, the front door looks as is it's floating within a frameless glass surround. The special effect is given by the white stone that seems to levitate in front of the door.
