The architects from i.house had the objective to optimize the home's aesthetics and to bring more green details for a more relaxing space.
Located in Hung Yen Province, Vietnam, the land-site of this flat is rather cramped and limited in size (90sqm/floor). The architects have used a variety of solutions for creating a floor-through space, omitting unnecessary rooms/space, fully maximizing the beautiful views of the urban township and laying unique green parts (garden stands).
For this stylish penthouse, a contemporary design has been introduced in combination with the use of several classic industrial-style pieces of furniture.
The living room, the kitchen and the dining room were designed in perfect harmony with large surrounding glass walls, which makes the common space to be flooded with natural light.
The kitchen area with gray-wood tone was designed in the minimalist style with the intention to create a dark background for the living room. This way, it will contrast with the common space filled with natural light and will put more highlight on the furniture.
The dining room is also an open library and is the ideal space for relaxing and reading books.
A special feature of this area is a hidden study space which is disguised as a bookcase in the dining room. More, this versatile room is both a study area and it can also be converted into a bedroom for guests.
On the 2nd floor, the master bedroom is located right in the center of the flat, from where it offers the widest and most beautiful view in the morning.
The rest of the bedrooms are surrounded by spaces such as the dressing rooms, the toilets, and a garden.
A unique 5-panel revolving-door creates a link between the bedroom and the open garden. In the garden, thanks to the use of glass railings, the splendid and non-restricted views over the urban township create a feeling of distance from the urban township below. The array of garden stands is applied to create large green spaces for this place.
